Gigi's Birthday

We had a great time celebrating my grandmas's 77th Birthday last night. The grandkids came from Anacortes and a couple from Bellingham to celebrate! The boys (aka Chad, Gavin, Shawn and Kaeden played 2 on 2 basketball - final score 62-58!).



Before we went to Grandma's party, Kelsey came over and the kids played! Tatum was trying to be just like Kaeden.

The brother Kaeden won't have

Last year, I watched a friends little guy quite frequently and yesterday I got to watch him for the day. He is so cute and has a great personality! All my kids love it when he is here, especially Kaeden. Kaeden wants another baby, which we aren't going to have. So, when Landon comes over he get to chase and wrestle with Landon. Here are some pics of him yesterday!

I was in the kitchen making some food and I could hear Landon, but couldn't see him. This is where I found him... in the dog crate!

Happy as can be!

This was so adorable. Kaeden was laying on the floor and Landon saw it and so he hurried over and layed down next to Kaeden, to lay just like him. It was so cute!

Spring of Sports

We are back in the "spring of sports" season again! Kenna has soccer 2 days a week and Kaeden is playing baseball. Kenna's soccer is great. They play on Mondays and Wednesdays for an hour. The first half hour is practice and the last 30 minutes is game time! She is on a co-ed team. It's definitely different than just an all girls team. My parents showed up to watch the game part and I got some cute pictures of my dad and the girls!

what did you say?

Shawn was busy working on our garage/family room conversion this afternoon and Kendyl was asking Shawn a bunch of random questions.

"Your killin me Kendyl"

"Daddy, I'm going to kill you?"

Shawn told me about what she said and be both thought it was kind of a scary question. Not until dinner time did Shawn realize why she would say/ask that! It was pretty funny!

Kendyl's Day

I think Kendyl had a great birthday today. It seems as though her birthday celebration has been over a week, with her party on Friday, presents on Sunday, shopping with grammers last night and today, her actual birthday! Her day started off by her grandmas calling her and singing Happy Birthday to her. At preschool, when it's your birthday you are the "Star of the Day" and you get to bring snack (cupcakes!) and show and tell. Kendyl was really excited. The best preschool teacher ever, Miss Amy, does a great job with getting each kid a birthday balloon and their crown and they get to pick a couple prizes out of the birthday prize box. Kendyl brought her new Zhu Zhu pet with her today for show and tell. After school, Kendyl got to go shopping with Gigi (her great grandma) for a birthday present. We had dinner at Gigi's tonight with my mom and dad. It was fun!

how I read...

This is how I read... With my cat and dog loving on me. Krissy, our dog loves to nuzzle up against me, put her face on my lap and book .Our overly large cat, Spunky (aka Chunky), loves to lay right next to me. Krissy will flick my hand on the book (or this case my Bible) and then I can't read. It's entertainment for Shawn and I when the kids go to bed!

Happy 4th Birthday Kendyl!

A walk down memory lane... (sorry if some of the pics are small)

I cannot believe my last child is 4 years old today. I know time will fly by and before I know it, they will be graduating from college. I am really not ready for them to get older.

Kendyl has a great imagination! Loves to play with dolls, puzzles, color, create projects, and pretend. A lot of the time, she is shy, but will surprise us with belting out the words to the Easter program at church today and not being bashful at all. She can be moody at times and really happy other times! She still sucks her thumb, but only when she has her "pink" (pink blanket). She has a great sense of humor and is a joy to our family!
