MY BABY!!!!

Okay, so I usually do not get sentimental, but my baby is riding a bike with training wheels. I know, a lot of 3 years olds do, but she just figured out how to pedal a couple months ago on her trike. I was work tonight and Shawn put training wheels back on Kenna's Dora bike. I guess Kendyl was so excited. I have tears and a smile thinking of it. My baby is getting bigger!

Puppy Love

My parents got Kennadi a new bike yesterday with 18 inch wheels! Kennadi saw the bike with the paw prints and bones and just had to have this bike. She adores our puppy and loves anything to do with puppies. We had the option of paying an extra $10 and a Toys R Us Employee would assemble it and we thought, how long does it really take to assemble a bike. Well, Shawn started at 7:40 pm last night. I went to bed at 10:30 and I finally saw Shawn again a little after midnight. So the lesson of the story is, pay the extra $10 and pick up the bike the next day.
THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!

BIG FISH

Shawn, Kaeden and my dad just got home with my mom's camera. The Big Fish is pictured with Shawn and Kaeden, my fish from camping and the pictures of Deception Falls the guys took from the trip home.

camping..swimming.. fishing.. playing.. tubing..eating.. roasting

We just got back from a week camping trip with my family. Our family and my parents camped the whole week and my sis and her family camp for 2 nights. The first couple days were a little cold and it sprinkled, but after that, blue skies and sun!

The kids found friends that were camping last year and they continued their friendship this week. We hope to keep in contact throughout the year, they only live in Lynnwood.

We caught fish! This morning Shawn and Kaeden tag teamed a 7lb Rainbow Trout. My mom, the girls and I had already headed home and weren't able to see it, but we are excited to eat it. My mom has a picture on her camera of my fish that I caught, I will post the picture soon!
The best part of the camping trip I enjoyed the most was the beach. We would pack lunches, chairs, fishing poles, buckets, our puppy, my parents dog and we would go across the park and pull the boat up to the shore and have a beach all to ourselves. The kids enjoyed hunting for pretty rocks with Grammers, water fights with papa and daddy, fishing from the shore and sun bathing!

Do you clean green?

Before
Or is it Green Clean?
I am trying something new in my house. I am trying to be a little more green with the chemicals I use to clean in my house, instead of having my nose hairs burn after cleaning the bathroom. For the first time, I cleaned the bathroom with just baking soda, vinegar & water mixture, and a product called Green Works (I hope it is considered Green). The only time I used the Green Works was for the toilet - ugh! The bathrooms turned out great, even the mirrors. So, if you clean green or green clean please let me know the tips and how to go about doing everything in the house.

Honesty and Trustworthy

We were invited to attend the end of year assembly at Kaeden's school today (the last day -yeah!) because Kaeden received an award and they didn't tell what award. It was very nice program for the K, 1st and 2nd grade. Kaeden received the award for being the most Honest and Trustworthy in his class. We are proud of him!

Finally, a wireless keyboard!

Oh wait... I guess it's a severed keyboard cord. The pictures not great, but our beautiful puppy decided it was a chew toy. Fortunately, we had our old keyboard in the garage from our old computer. This is Krissy, our cord chewer and Bud, my parents dog.

Another Sunny June Day

I cannot remember when we have had such a beautiful June! We went to a family friends birthday celebration at Relay for Life. There were hundreds of people walking track and had their tents set up for the night to walk through the night to raise money for cancer. We finally blew up an old pool we have had for a few years for the kid this afternoon. They just love being in the water no matter how big or small the pool is.

Girls, just wanna have fun!

Today, the girls and I ran to Sally Beauty Supply and they each were able to pick out their own nail decorations. My camera isn't really good at taking up close pictures, but I thought I would at least try. It's really funny because after I just got done painting Kendyl's nails, she went over to her blankie and tried sucking her thumb. It doesn't taste too good. I am not a girly girl, but it sure is fun having the girls enjoy being girly girls at times.

every time i turn around

Kenna is our "Punky Brewster", hopefully you remember the tv show and their theme song with words, "Every time I turn around" etc. Every time we turn around Kenna is up to something. The girl cannot sit still, it's hilarious. Right before church she requested for me to get her "hair pretty" bin down. I got it down and went on with getting ready. She came out of the bathroom with her own hair design - watch out, I might be designing a new hair pretty to go on etsy. I grabbed my camera and wanted to take a picture and she didn't want me to because it was probably going to go on my blog. She is a smart one, I can't get anything past her.

School BBQ

We just got back from Kaeden's school bbq. It was nice, parents, siblings or anyone special could come and have lunch with their child. I had my girls and Landon today, so we walked over to enjoy the beautiful afternoon. Kaeden was so excited to see us and it wanted to sit by us at lunch it was heart warming ... Not exactly! Kaeden did like seeing us, but by the time Landon, the girls and I got our food Kaeden was eating out in the middle of the field and practically done with his lunch. I asked him if he would sit with us at the tables set up outside and my loving son declined. I was able to get a picture of him with us as he sat with us for a quick moment. It was just nice to chat with the other parents and see the other friends the kids have.

The Masterpiece

Today the girls were doing arts and crafts and Kenna brought me the top picture shown. She said it was the cross where Jesus died and the other areas were the bushes next to him. I decided to frame it and then Kendyl wanted hers framed as well. So, they are now proudly displayed in the kitchen.

Post Football Game Party

This afternoon turned out beautiful! I thought it was going to be a little chilly this afternoon, but it was perfect, an ideal June day. We went to church this morning and then had Kaeden's Flag Football game. His team won - yeah! Then, we were invited to go to one of the players house for an barbecue. They live out on the water with a deck and a built in hot tub and 4 foot deep pool and a beautiful view! When the tide comes in from the bay, the water comes under the deck. When I got home and looked at the pictures I realized I didn't really get any of Kaeden and I realized why. He was having so much with the boys go in and of the pool, hot tub and down to the beach, he wasn't still enough for my camera to take pictures.

What a view!
Kendyl probably did about 40 belly flops and loved it every time!

Chainsaws... Axe... Shovels... tree trunks...

We have a large hedge/tree/shrub thing between our house and our neighbors and it blocked the long driveway next to our house. I am always afraid that cars will not see our kids playing and my kids cannot always see the cars. SO... we decided to take her down. There were 3 different trees with large tree type trunks with serious roots. Shawn and I dug out the tree trunks for 4 hours today. Our neighbors didn't think we would be able to get it done today and we did!!!
