Washington Firsts

I have lived in Washington my whole life besides a 2 year college stint in Florida and I have never been to Jetty Island in Everett or the Ice Caves on the Mountain Loop Highway. Well, I have officially conquered both of those adventures yesterday and today. I am disappointed because I forgot my camera for Jetty Island yesterday, but I did have my camera today as we ventured into God's miraculous beauty. So many times today, I just stared at the mountains, waterfalls, snow, the sun and just was in awe of what God created. We live in a beautiful state, I am thankful for that. We had one of Kenna's friends from pre-k along with us today, Max and we met another family at the Ice Caves - Malachi from flag football and his family and another one of their friends. Absolute BEAUTIFUL DAY!!! There was so much snow at the top of the hike, the kids had snow ball fights and we were slipping and sliding all over the place. It was great!

  1. Looks like you had a great time! That is now something I need to put on the list of things for the Swapp Family to do.
