Easily Distractable

I know a blog is boring without pictures, so this will be my last pictureless post until I get an idea to blog about with pictures.

I am not sure if I am the only one this happens to, but do you ever go to do something and then you find yourself doing something else and forgetting about what you were originally going to do. A friend just called and decided to come over and the house, well how shall I say it, my house isn't totally ready for company, but I promised the girls we would walk to the library before our friends came over. Before we went to the library I thought I would throw some laundry in the washer. I got the washer started and my husband has taught me to put the soap in, let the water fill up some and then place the laundry in. Okay, so I got the water going, then decided to vacuum real quick, reminding myself to not forget about the clothes. I vacuumed, felt a little better about our dark green carpet and noticed the girls left their jammies on their bedroom floor. I pick up the jammies and realized... yeah the washer is going fully cycle without any clothes in it. I don't know how many times I have done this. Just wondering if I am the only one that gets totally distracted and off task. If you have any of your own distractable stories, I would love to hear them. It's a beautiful day here, hope you are enjoying the sunshine like we are today!!!

  1. You are so funny. NO I NEVER get distracted and forget that I started a bath and the water is just about to overflow. I NEVER turn the oven on and then forget to put the dinner in it.

  3. I'm so excited to see you started a blog! So yeah my moment was just yesterday, before we went to Ash's softball game I cooked a quick dinner so that the kids would be full and I wouldn't have to bring snacks. By the way they were still hungry and ate everyone else's snacks, I swear they have eight stomachs each, they're constantly asking me for food. So anyways when we got home Prestin yelled that I had left one of the burners on. I went into the kitchen and sure enough blue flames from my gas stove flickering away. It was on for like five and a half hours! Aren't you glad God is always watching over us? Love Danielle

  4. Every time I sit down at the computer to get some business done, I can't help but check blogs and then I forget why I got on the computer in the first place.
